Troop notes from the Scribe JV: 

Tonight was a shorter meeting than usual. A few of the hikers returned from the Mount Whitney trip it seems like they had a great time. In the Old Nag minute we learned that you can use cotton balls and petroleum jell to make a lightweight and waterproof fire-starter. We have a few upcoming trips such as the Colorado River canoe trip this Saturday 7/27 and the Monthly Beast hike on August 13th.
